{National Scrapbook Day ...}

... came and went, and I didn't do any scrapbooking. (It was May 1st.)

I always think about doing a power day of scrapping on that day, but it's clearly never

with determined intention. The last serious session I did on National Scrapbooking Day

was from 6PM to 6AM with friends ... when I lived in Dallas. That was years ago!

I haven't even scrapped for myself since October of '09. It's such a fun hobby, and it's

so nice to go through my books, looking at finished pages and the memories they hold.

I need to get back to it, even if a little. Maybe a craft day with the ladies is in order?

It felt fabulous to make a layout recently. It's a simple double pager, but I like all the

photos it holds, and how the colors pop, too. It reminds me of happy memories on a

good day.
