{Family Pictures}

Family photos!

I was excited to get Team Link together for a picture for our holiday cards. We got a few nice shots thanks to Barb and Jason. The dogs were crazy excited and were sure we were there to
go for a hike ...

I still feel badly that we didn't include Oliver. There was just no way to bring him with us.
It would have been torture for him.

Anyway, I was proud of these. It felt like we were taking a minute to celebrate us by documenting our little family in a photo at the end of an entire decade together.

I hope you all had a happy holiday season. Wishes to an awesome 2010!

WOW! Great photos! I of course saw the group shot but I LOVE the photo of just you and D! (Um, can I get a copy???) It's a great photo of both of you.

Thanks for sharing!

They came out really good! I especially like the last one, in color. The colors of the dogs and your clothes just work perfectly with the background.

Wow, Sam! Ten years together?!?

That is just wonderful!

It amazes me how fast you kids grow up. I remember your teenage years vividly. Just the thought of you being in a lasting and loving relationship for that many years makes me feel so old! I'm sure you didn't mean to make me feel that way.

Rick and I will be married ten years in May. When you include the seven years we dated before that, it seems like we've been together forever. I'm sure you and Dave get to feeling like that sometimes. But the 'forever' part is what feels good and comfortable and secure. When you start to finish each other's sentences, or when you can't remember if it's his grubby old sweatshirt or yours when you throw it on to do the yardwork, or when someone at his work worries that you might be sick because you didn't send any brownies this week for a Friday treat, then you know it's a forever kind of thing.

P.S. I think Oliver needs a photo op with Mom and Dad too! Something at home, slinky and romantic!
