Phoenix on Sunday. We had a great time!
The event was a success. They raised $2 million towards the race for the cure,
and 30,000 people came out in support.
Lisa, Alejandra, Tonia, and me -- at Starbucks before the walk.
(Look -- long sleeves! It's cool enough in the morning to get
away with it. It's so nice!)
There was a great turnout. It made for slow walking, but it
was cool to be with so many people in the community in support
of a great cause.
As we walked, I was moved to see the notes people carried on themselves.
In memory of people they have lost to breast cancer. In celebration of
those who have survived.
Ale and me at the finish. :)

WTG Sam! I had wondered if you decided NOT to do the 3-day since I haven't heard you mention anything more about it since last spring?
Sam I'm so glad you support everyone with their Breast Cancer efforts. Thanks for the pics and posting on your blog. Hopefully it inspires others!
Way to go! What a great effort to support these wonderful women. :)
This is so awesome. I was supposed to this, but then my company mandated OT for a system conversion. I was so bummed...I almost wore my race shirt/number to work! Great job :)
