scrapbook for someone small and sweet, and I created framed Halloween decorations that
will be holiday gifts. We were both awfully proud of our creative productivity.
You might remember I made a similar framed Halloween pieces in 2008. I had supplies
for more, (which included old frames that I spray painted, Daisy D's gypsy Halloween
paper and embellishments from my stash). The ribbon is actually repurposed material
that I saved -- ties that were on old chair cushions! Anyway, I thought these would make
fun Christmas gifts.
They're all essentially the same on the top half. The bottom has the same cat-hat-broom
image, but I decorated each differently. I love this paper, and working on something for
Halloween really got me in the mood for fall -- my favorite time of the year. I'm trying not
to fixate on the way fall passes us by here in Phoenix. I'll decorate and pretend, instead.
Ahh, to make things. It feels so good. And to finish them -- well, that's just fabulous on
a whole other level. I'm thinking these 8x10 framed pieces need 5x7 counterparts.
I'll just add that to the list of things I want to craft. Until next time, mon amis!
