Meet James Whetzel and his sarod.

He was kind enough to let me take a few photos when I passed by him in Seattle.
I'd never seen a sarod before. First, I looked for the source of the exotic music I
heard wafting through Pioneer Square. Then, I was attracted the physical beauty
of the instrument itself. I would have liked to stay a little longer to soak it in, but
we were on a mission and had to keep walking.

You can Google James Whetzel and find samples of his music online to listen to and buy.
It's totally peaceful and worth a look.

Hey Samara!

I just wanted to let you know that - woohoo - you won my lil' contest! Shoot me an email with your mailing address when you have a chance and I'll drop your goodies in the mail shortly. ;)

Lovely photos, by the way! I, personally, am a very hit-and-miss photographer, so if you have any pointers or recommended equipment, lay it on me, because I need all the help that I can get!

Take care and have a wonderful day!
