He was kind enough to let me take a few photos when I passed by him in Seattle.
I'd never seen a sarod before. First, I looked for the source of the exotic music I
heard wafting through Pioneer Square. Then, I was attracted the physical beauty
of the instrument itself. I would have liked to stay a little longer to soak it in, but
we were on a mission and had to keep walking.
You can Google James Whetzel and find samples of his music online to listen to and buy.
It's totally peaceful and worth a look.
