{Stop and Smell the Little Yellow Flowers}

It's amazing to see so much color and life in the desert right now. It won't be here long
because once the heat moves in, that color fades. But it's here now, and we're enjoying it!
Cacti are in bloom, wild flowers are thriving and there's general bits of green everywhere.

I love the area where I was when I stopped to take a closer look at these little yellow wild
flowers. It's the dividing line between Ahwatukee (town) and reservation. The foothills
make the perfect backdrop for a lovely drive on a sunny day.

Just a reminder, as you kick off your weekend, to stop and enjoy the moment.
The things and people around you. The breeze. The weather. The sun or clouds.
The little things and the big. Color. Texture. Food. Taste. Sounds. Sense all of it.

p.s. I have a few crafty things to share in the coming week. Stay tuned!
