Me, my camera and four hours in visually rich, Old Town Albuquerque.
Took myself to a leisurely lunch at Church Street Cafe.
Browsed but didn't bother to buy anything.
Had nice chats with some shop keepers and a couple passers by.
Enjoyed the beautiful weather ... sunshine with breeze, warm with cool.
Perfect.

We were in the area to see Art and Mary (David's parents) ...
Who were in the area to see Clem and Jean, their long time friends.
David had to work Thursday and Friday. So, I did my own thing one day
and went to Santa Fe with Jean and Mary the next. The guys played golf
on Saturday. So, we busied ourselves with the flea market, more shops
and lunch. We had dinners together and watched the Olympics each night.
It was a nice visit.

How awesome Sam! I have a new respect for ALBQ. I've never seen this side of the city...you should create a travel brochure for their tourism department.
Your pictures are always so lovely. I would have to say that my favorite is of the chilies hanging, but it is really difficult to pick just one.
Wow, my sis is getting great with the camera. I have to say I like pic number 2. Something cool about unfinished work in a final photo.....the story isn't finished.
My second favorite pic is "Winter ClearEnce Sale." It makes me wonder if they are having a tAnt sale....I'll bet you all sales are finEl....What do you think their rAturn policy is....Do you think they have my sizA....

I love how everything is the color of dirt, but then there are these bright, almost surreal pops of color everywhere.
I would love to see Albuquerque sometime, look so cool in Old Town! Great photos too, I loved the boobs. Kidding!! My favorite is of the pillows :) and the doors are cool too!
