{Photo Hunt #6 Results}

Kristi hosted her sixth Photo Hunt this month. I did it twice before (in April and June),
but then took some time off in the name of busy-ness. It felt good to get back in the
game this time around. I was in three states (AZ, MI, NM) during the short month of
February. That gave me a chance to find inspiration in new places.

NOTE: Kristi will post her favorite pictures from each category throughout March on
the blog she created especially for her photo hunts. Go and vote for your favorite ones!

1. A tower -- Beaumont Tower. East Lansing, Michigan.

2. “Main Street” -- Old Town; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

3. Five -- Both from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

4. A dog or cat -- Outside Desert Blooms Gallery; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

5. Two of a kind -- Street side in Old Town; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

6. A clock -- Ingham County Courthouse. Mason, Michigan.

7. A game -- Superbowl Weekend Powderpuff Game; Gilbert, Arizona.

8. Something sweet -- Honey on the table; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

9. B&W w/selective coloring -- Cardinal amid snow and gray; Mason, Michigan.

10. Your own reflection -- Me at bottom of an ornament. Santa Fe, New Mexico.

11. A mirror image -- Angels at The Christmas Shoppe; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

12. Night image -- Inside Church Street Cafe; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

13. Something homemade -- Hand woven pillows; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

14. Something pink -- B&B on edge of Old Town; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

15. Something romantic -- Jose Salazar on guitar; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

16. A candid shot -- Tourists on adventure; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

17. A portrait -- Maternity photo, Jennifer Truman. Mason, Michigan.

18. A symbol of love -- Valentine's Day decore; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

19. A landscape -- Sandia Mountains; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

20. Chocolate -- Cups of happy at the bakery; Albuquerque, New Mexico.

And there you have it. It felt great to finish this, and it was fun jaunting around town(s)
with my camera again. The photo hunt got me out taking photos of things I would have
otherwise walked right by. Thanks to Kristi for hosting!! Until next time ... Happy snapping.

Super fun shots Sam!!!
I love the cardinal shot! It's beautiful! My mom might love a copy! The handmade pillows in Albuquerque are beautiful too! And I just love the movement in the something romantic with the guitar. Great shot!!! All of them!
So nice you did so much traveling this past month. It's cool to see the different places you were able to get your shots from.

I absolutely love all of your pictures. The tower reminds me of the front of the main building where I went to college, the coffee is really neat. I love your maternity shot, and your selective coloring is perfect!!

These are outstanding!

Your take on five is very fresh.

Cardinals are so stunning to see in the winter -- we have nothing so vibrant in Utah.

I've never made it New Mexico (well other than the corner at Four Corners...), but I would love to go there. Your pictures capture the ancient grace, of the place magnificently.

That maternity photo is lit perfectly -- I love subtle light.

Well done!
