{Resolution Time: June}

Sticking to my '09 resolution to make three new resolutions
for every month. The new month means it's time to:
~ review how I did with May goals
~ make new June goals

May Resolution Recap:
I didn't attack my goals at all this month. I got a super late start
on all of them. Like two weeks into the month! I did make some
headway after that, but time flew at the end.

1. Spend time with Photoshop, actions & online tutorials. In
hindsight, this was three goals in one. Way too much computer
stuff in one goal for me! So, I really just narrowed in on actions.
I found a place to download them for free and got started in
applying them to a few photos. Click here to read more about
what I learned. I'm now in the process of going through the
tutorial for each action and figuring how to apply and tweak
them. It's fun!

2. Spend nine minutes a day in meditation.
Did a post on why I wanted to do this and how it seemed to
be going as I kicked it off. I have managed to do it daily since,
and I plan to keep it up. This could potentially be something I
do for life! (At least it should be.) Will keep you posted on if it
seems to make a difference and how it evolves.

3. Put music from CDs onto ipod.
Oigh. This one didn't go -- like, at all. I don't know how to get
songs from computer to ipod. It's probably so simple, but I'm
not huge on teaching myself things on the computer. I usually
can figure it out once I decide to, but it seems too intimidating
and I often procrastinate my way out of ever doing it. So, the
ipod and loving-on-it's-sad-state remain on my to do list. I
promised myself that this week I'd at least look for the cord
I need (it's gotta be here somewhere) and figure out what my
itunes username and password is. :( This particular resolution
attempt was my worst go at a goal so far this year! I only
downloaded one CD to my computer. Bad, Sam.

Making June Resolutions:
So far this year, I've made three resolutions a month.
June marks the midway point in 2009.

My overall goal with this process is to get where I want to be
by 2010. I have a lot of work to do if that's actually gonna
happen. Time to reassess -- do a little more with the goals I've
already set and figure out what my real priorities are going
forward.

June Resolutions:
1. Make a list of several things I am doing and/or need to be
doing and give myself the grade I want to have for each of
those, along with the grade I am currently earning.
(i.e., Exercise -- I want an A, in the last month, I've earned ...
Or how I'm doing as a partner in my marriage -- I want an A,
in the last month I've earned ...)

2. Make a list of what I ideally want my life to look like and then
under each item, detail what I can do right now to start making
that happen. Then, put that list in order of priority.

3. Start couples work with David. Focus on our marriage.

Also in June:
- Remodel our bathroom
- Start 3-Day fundraising
- Do another Photo Scavenger Hunt (click here for details)
- Keep my schedule and to do list in a planner (started in May)
- Get ready for the baby shower I'm throwing on the 27th

What are you working on?
See you next month!

I'm such a slacker that just reading your resolutions makes me tired, lol!
Good luck with your goals, and just remember no matter how you do on 'em, you'll still accomplish more than me, lol!

You are so good at this, even if its hard to be 100% (which is very hard for anyone to do!)
So excited for this new Photo Hunt! Your friend Sue Thomas also signed up :)

First, I'm laughing with Linds, list of lists! Too funny. ;o)

I think you've done great with your resolutions. And you're follow up too! I like reading what you've done and what you're planning next! Even if I read them a few weeks later. It's good to know what you're doing.

Can't wait for bathroom remodel. So exciting. And the scavenger hunt too. Might join in! You're last photos were fantastic! I know writing down stuff in a planner is so 20th century (reminds me of the guy in 27 Dresses) but I love my planner! And there's just something about writing things down that helps me remember. I hope it works for you too!
Ok, what is a 3-Day Fundraiser? I know you've mentioned it before but I thought you were talking about a marathon. I'm lost.

Good luck! June is a good month!
:o)

AH! I love reading your goals because it reminds me that I have a list of stuff too that I have now officially NOT looked at in a month! AH! I was doing good too. DANG IT! Well doing good a few months ago. You gotta add textures to the LIST sometime!!!
