{Doin' Stuff}

Hi!

Long time, no blog.
God, this has been a slow blog month. I just fell a bit short on
inspiration, I guess. But I think I'm back...

...and I brought with me a post about some crafty stuff I've
been doing. :)

First off -- I'm so excited about this -- I got a sewing
machine!! It's new-to-me, and I love it.



I bought it from Barb, who recently upgraded to something in

a whole new league. This was her second one and it was lightly

used. Look at all the stitches it has! She gave me an awesome

lesson on how to use it. She was a very patient and thorough

teacher, and I left feeling totally excited and ready to go.

Onto a scrapbook page I made of Killian, using the journaling

written about him here. I liked how this one turned out. The

colors make me really happy.

Then, I put a ton of stuff into my Bay Box album.
That felt awesome. Most of what I did were pages
like this -- 3x5 and 4x6 photos.



Did a couple quickie pages for the Bay Box, too.
They are 12x12 but not too decorated. Easy peasy.




Also got a couple of new tools. Finally purchased some good
crafting scissors (!!) that I got for half price thanks to
a Michael's coupon ...



And this cool tool that I used to make the border at the

bottom of the Killian page (above).
