{Patience is a Virtue}

One I haven't mastered yet, but it's a virtue nontheless.

My patience was recently rewarded. I've wanted to replace the
light fixture in our dining room since the day we moved in. The
light I originally fell in love with was about four times what I was
willing to pay. So, I looked around and found another -- and then
waited and waited for it to go on sale. Good thing I did because it
was half off the other weekend. As soon as I saw the sale online,
I jumped in the car and snapped it up.

The much hated before fixture.

And the much reduced new fixture.

Ahhh. So. Much. Better.

so awesome! I, too, have hated my builder-boring light fixtures since day one too---some day I hope to get them replaced!
