{I See Chihuly}

So, it turns out, we love Dave Chihuly.
His amazing works of color and glass are on exhibit
right now at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.

David and I went to the DBG last year and thought it was
amazing. This time, the same beautiful plants and displays
of desert nature were there...

...but when we went on the 22nd, there were colorful and
incredible installations of glass artistry nestled throughout
the 145 acre garden.

We were told the best time to go was the 4pm to 8pm showing.
That's because you get to see the pieces in two lights -- both in
natural daylight and lit up after the sun set. I tell ya, that was
the way to do it. It was really amazing...

Our time there made for a wonderful Sunday evening! It was a
great date and a fun way to wrap up the weekend.

p.s. The photos were a group effort. David took the majority --
the last six and many from above. I think he did a great job.
My favorite - the second from the bottom. It's hard to see
here, but enlarged, it's amazing.
