Deepest Sympathies

Art and Mary (David's dad and stepmom) have been taking care of Mary's
mother for some time now. Sadly, Grandma Alderman passed away on
Tuesday morning. Our thoughts are with everyone, especially Mary and
her brother, Bill. We send you both a hug and wish we could be there for
you. They had a service this weekend, and will have the burial in Traverse
City tomorrow.

It's important for family and friends to be together in times like this. We
are so sorry that we weren't able to come home. Fortunately,
Brian, Tracy and Alex (D's brother, his wife and son) were able to drive
in from Chicago for the service. And Marya (David's sister) is going to
be able to leave Nicaragua, where she is in the Peace Corps, to come
home for a bit. Mary and Marya are very, very close. So, I'm sure it'll be
really good for Mary to have her there. And Marya will be able to go to the
burial and say good bye to her grandmother.

We just wanted to say we're thinking of all of you are so sorry for your loss.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no
one can steal.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking
back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Sorry for your loss David, I'm glad I got a chance to meet her last summer.
